The Top 10 Most Amazing L'ange Hair Products

Do you want absolutely gorgeous hair? I mean, who doesn't, right? I was introduced to L'ange hair products at the end of 2019. I had just cut 20+ inches off my hair to donate, got a brand new look, and had no idea how to style it. It had been over 10 years since I had short hair, and I was at a loss. For my birthday, my mom sent me some L'ange hair products; shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, and the Le'Vite (I'll go over that later). I am always skeptical of new products I try, mainly because I always end up disappointed in whatever I get, so I try not to get my hopes up. I had been using regular shampoo and conditioner that I would get at the grocery store and used a leave-in conditioner, so my hair wasn't in the best shape. I was also given their Rehab deep conditioner so I decided to give that a go. I was hooked from that moment on. The instant I rinsed my hair and felt how silky and smooth it was, I knew I had found my new hair products.

I have never really been a huge "brand girl". I will use a particular brand of "insert beauty product here", but I was never married to one. I was always willing to try a new company out. That has changed since L'ange. I cannot recommend L'ange hair products more, they are absolutely amazing. Below are my top 10 favorite L'ange hair products that are "must-haves" to get gorgeous hair!

L'ange Hair Products

L'ange Hair Products Review - By the Eclectic Ginger

1. Rehab Hydrating Masque

Like I mentioned above, Rehab was my "hook" into L'ange hair products. This super hydrating masque is a must-have for anyone that uses heat to dry or style their hair or those that color it. This is the middleweight masque from L'ange and it is perfect for weekly use. In my case, because I only wash my hair twice a week I use it every 4 washes or every other week. I will use it in-between if I feel like my hair really needs a pick me up.

The Rehab Masque is the perfect product to make your hair feel silky, soft, and oh so touchable. It also helps a ton with frizz (hello Southern humidity, I'm talking to you!). Every time I wash my hair I MUST use a separate heating element after blow drying my hair because it gets frizzy in any type of humidity. Unless I use Rehab! I can just dry my hair with a paddle brush and it looks good to go! If your hair is at all dry or damaged, this is the one product that is a MUST BUY!

It does come at a hefty price of $40, but it does last about 6 months for me (I have really thick hair) and I tend to purchase it when L'ange does one of their insane sales, like all hair care products are just $9! YES! Even the $40 products like Rehab are just $9. When those sales happen, I stock up on my favs!

2. Replenish - Detangling Conditioning Spray

Replenish is probably one of my favorite smelling L'ange products. To me, it smells like Summertime, the beach, and suntan lotion with its light coconut smell. I will liberally spray this all over my hair just to basque in the amazing scent, and even though I spray, probably more than I should, it has lasted me over a year. After every wash, I will use Replenish and Sorbet to keep my hair healthy, tangle-free, and smelling amazing. To be perfectly honest after using L'ange Lather and Creme Brule Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner I can comb through my hair without tangles, so I might not technically need the detangling portion of Replenish and could focus on more of a conditioning spray, but the smell of Replenish will keep me coming back for more!

This product would be perfect for kiddos with long hair that always gets tangled after a shower or bath!

3. Style Revival - Super Dry Shampoo

I actually just purchased and received my Style Revival. I had used another dry shampoo before that and coupled it with the L'ange Deja Vu dry shampoo (which is a lighter dry shampoo) and it was working just fine. But I had read such great reviews and I purchased it during their $9 sale, so I thought, well if it doesn't work for me I haven't wasted much money. While my last dry shampoo worked well I had to really work the product into my hair to get rid of that whiteness that comes with dry shampoo. Oh, just an FYI if you don't like the white spray, use Deja Vu. It goes on more like a hairspray with no color changes. It is great to get rid of that little oiliness that is on that 2nd day of not washing. Not enough oil to warrant a stronger dry shampoo, but just a little touch-up. But for me, I tend to go 4 - 5 days without washing my hair, so by day 3 or 4, I need to bring in the bigger guns to make my hair look like it was just washed.

As a matter of fact, I went to get my hair done yesterday and apologized because I was on day 3 of no-wash, and my hairstylist said "and it still looks this good?" So I will take that as a huge win!

4. Miracle - Lightweight Conditioning Spray

Miracle and Style Revival are used together to create a just-washed look on day 2 and beyond of not washing your hair. While Style Revival removes the oil from the roots and gives some volume back, Miracle, with its marula oil, gives some much-needed moisture and shine back to the ends of your hair. The weightless formula allows you to use it all the time without worrying about it weighing your tresses down. If you need something a bit stronger that will also give a little more style and definition to your hair you can try Manage which I use on maybe day 4 or 5, after using hot tools for several days and my hair is now up in a ponytail but the ends look a little rough. If needed I will also combine Manage with Satin Nectar which I will talk more about below.

5. Sorbet - Botanical Smoothing Balm

Sorbet is a yummy smelling leave-in conditioner that is lightweight and fantastic for all different types of styles. This leave-in conditioner will leave your hair soft, but not weighed down. It controls frizz, enhances curls (natural or not), and protects against UV light to help keep hair healthy and strong. I use this every time I wash my hair with Replenish. But I only use the tiniest little bit because a little does go a very long way with this product, I mean, like the size of a pea for my medium-long, thick hair.

You can also use this to help control frizz in between washes by using a very small amount on dry hair for weightless frizz control.

6. Satin Nectar - Nourishing Gloss

The Satin Nectar Nourishing Gloss, like the Sorbet, should be used sparingly. Because it is an oil a little goes a very long way. Sometimes oils weigh my hair down, so I purchased a travel size to make sure that I liked it before I committed to a bigger bottle. I still have about 3/4 of a bottle left after a year! You use that little! But, that little bit packs a punch. I used the Nourishing Gloss on my ends after I use the Dreamy purifying shampoo along with the Sorbet and Replenish because purifying shampoos strip out all the product and the good oils in your hair, so I need to replace those with the Nourishing Gloss. I also use it on Day 3 + of not washing my hair, especially if I have been styling it a lot. Where my ends can look dry and brittle on those days, I just smooth a little bit into my hair and it looks shiny and healthy.

Once I run out of my travel size Nourishing Gloss, because let's face it, I won't be traveling anytime soon, thanks Covid, I will replace it with the bigger size.

7. Rival - Heat Shield

I have very thick strong hair, so I can get away with not using a heat shield when I am just using a regular blowdryer on my hair. But if you have fine, color-treated, or damaged hair I would use this all the time. In my case, I only use it when I am using a flat or curling iron or my Le'Volume hairdryer. But I truly believe that Rival has kept my hair healthy and strong because I do use heating elements all the time on my hair. At least 3 - 4 times a week. So Rival has been a lifesaver for my hair and is a MUST if you use any heated tools on your hair.

8. Shampoos and Conditioners

Generally, I wash my hair with Lather and Creme Brule keratin protein shampoo and conditioner. They are incredibly hydrating and the perfect combination for me during most of the year. They make my hair soft, easy to comb through, healthy, and strong. While using this if I have any split ends I haven't been able to find them. This is the one I recommend all the time.

Once or twice a month, depending on how much product I have been using, I will use Dreamy which is L'anges purifying shampoo. I love this shampoo! My hair feels very clean afterward, but not super dried out. It also gives more volume to my hair because it has stripped out all the products that are weighing it down.

In the deep of winter when it is dryer than usual I will also add in the Luxe shampoo which is Marula Oil hydrating shampoo. You see, living in the South, I am used to humidity. Now when the humidity drops below 50% my hair, skin, and eyes all suffer. Luxe just gives my hair that little extra moisture to keep my hair from drying out.

I have naturally wavy/curly hair and during the summer when it is too hot to dry my hair I will let my hair dry naturally and let my curls shine. In the past, I have had trouble finding the right product for my curly/wavy hair to keep the humidity and frizz away. Even when adding in some of the products above (which because my hair is so heavy already, a lot of products are too heavy for my curls) it still doesn't quite keep the frizz at bay. L'ange just came out with their Curl Care shampoo and conditioner that I am so excited to try out as soon as it gets warm out. I will keep you updated on what I think of this combo!

No matter what type of hair you have, L'ange has a shampoo and conditioner that will work for you. Want to keep your blonde bright? Try Violet, Glace, and Froze, purple toning shampoos, and conditioner to remove any brassy tones. Want to keep your brown hair rich and chocolatey? Try Brunette Boost Blue toning shampoo and conditioner. L'ange has even come out with a hair loss and thinning line that sold out super quick!

9. Salt & Sea

When I want to add a little texture to my hair I reach for my Salt & Sea sea salt spray. This spray gives the perfect amount of texture without leaving a crunchy feeling that some other texture sprays leave. Although it might take some time to figure out how much you need to get your hair perfect. For me, I have to use a lot more than someone with thinner or finer hair needs. If I don't use enough my hair can fall flat after a couple of hours. But a friend with thinner hair tried mine and said her hair fell flat after using it on her heat enhanced curls. If you find it is too "wet" for your hair after you curl it leaving your curls falling flat, you can always spray it in wet hair before you dry it to give your hair that texture it needs to keep a curl.

My advice with any product is to try out different ways to see if it helps style your hair differently. For instance, I can spray my hair directly with the Salt & Sea and scrunch my hair and it gives a slightly different effect than if I were to spray my hands and scrunch my hair. When I spray my hand first, I can make sure the product goes directly to where I need it. If one of my natural curls decides it wants to be a little lazy that day I will spray my hand and scrunch that curl to give it a little extra help.

10. Trois Chic Three Way Hairspray

I hardly used hairspray. When I get anxious I tend to play with my hair and when I use hairspray it just is too sticky. But I tried the Trios Chic Three Way Hairspray because it has 3 different levels of spray; light hold, medium hold, and extra hold. All you need to do is turn the nozzle for the desired hold! That is pretty inventive and impressive so I needed to try it. I waited until L'ange had one of their amazing sales and got it. I love it! Not only does it not make my hair sticky or crunchy, but I can use a light hold all over, then turn the nozzle for a stronger hold on the most stubborn pieces of hair.

If you are not a fan of hairspray, I would give this a try for when hairspray is the only thing to get the job done!
